Dovely Luxury Christmas Cake Fully Finished

This is a square shaped rich fruit cake, pure and additive free, fully covered in home produced marzipan and home produced fondant icing. Measuring a minimum of 10cm x 15cm x 5cm it is a shape that is easy to store and cut, and comes on its own silver board, with fondant white (classical) holly leaves and berries over the top, with an outer festive covering of cellophane wrapping tied up with red and white candy striped string and our card for you to write on should you wish to. It will keep in an airtight storage container out of the refrigerator for many months should you need it to. 
Instead of glace cherries we have used dried cranberries to keep this additive free. We haven’t used nuts in the cake although the mild marzipan is of course made using almonds, it doesn’t taste of strong almond as we don’t use almond essence.
