Mundesley 40% Milled in House Black Wheat

We have adapted our fully home milled wheat loaf. To make it more risen… it’s hard to work with these beautiful and natural products from diverse crops! So…. Here we have a super tasty 40% stone ground in house black wheat loaf, proved and baked in a tin overnight and bearing an organic jumbo oat crust. This wheat tastes incredible, you will love it just plain before you make your toast or a sandwich.

 

We use pure organic English grown rare long stemmed heritage grains, grown close to us. We have here Hodmedods rare black wheat grain, from Lincolnshire which we will mill on demand for you for each order.

 

This loaf is going to be a minimum of 1.2kg pre bake weight. 40% of it will be a long stemmed organic rare wheat grown in England to promote variety and help wildlife to thrive. The other 60% is still organic flour. These loaves naturally contain a decent amount of protein, about 12%, plus all of bio available minerals and vitamins, and an exceptional, wholesome taste!
