One Private Baking Class for up to 4 Persons in the Bakery in Titchmarsh
Here is an ideal opportunity to learn in a happy and cosy environment. It is designed to be fun and relaxing as well as being utterly rewarding.
Coupled with this… you will end up with delicious items you can pass on as a gift, share as a meal with friends and recreate as you will have the recipes to take home too. Our ethos here in the bakery and in everyday life is to create and also eat only natural products and nothing ultra processed, hence we use locally farmed organic wheat grain which we often mill in the bakery, we grow much of our own produce and we don't use artificial additives. We try to promote this ethos and it is the gut healthy way to be.
The session takes place in the evening preferably on a Wednesday or Thursday from 6pm to around 9:30pm and is for up to four persons. It is ideal for you to have fun with your family, friends, colleagues as team building or as a gift for a family you are fond of whom you know love to bake and eat!
All equipment and ingredients as well as supper, facilities and parking is included. You need bring nothing.
All of this takes place in the bakery with full guidance and demonstration, by Alice, along with a glass of wine (healthy soft drink choices also available), and supper alongside which you can graze during the session.
The idea is that you learn to create these items using our quality ingredients and enjoy yourself whilst retaining the knowledge to be able to continue to do this afterwards. All of this with full guidance and attention, whilst we hope that you ask lots and lots of questions along the way.
We will arrange a mutually convenient date as soon as you have booked and then discuss what items you would like to create with us. Some ideas:-
Cinnamon buns
Focaccia
A full tiered party cake finished and frosted
Cheese Straws
Sauerkraut
Shortcrust pastry quiche or tarts
Loaves of bread
Chocolate truffles (perfect as a gift)
Be prepared to get stuck in... you will be weighing, rolling, lifting as well as working with a hot oven, involving handling hot pans, boiling water, and sharp knives.
Wear something that you don't mind getting doughy! And be able to roll up your sleeves, and be comfortable.
Alongside the baking experience there will be a selection of food choices as a grazing buffet. We hope that we please everybody, examples include antipasti such as olives, pate, houmus, a selection of cheeses, sauerkraut of course!, parma ham, grapes. Gluten free won't be something that we are able to provide on this day unfortunately, as wheat is going to be all around us at all times.
NOTE: Please be advised that within 30 days of the workshop we cannot cancel a reserved place and give a refund however we will either be able to move you to another date or attempt to re-sell your place should you need us to, and if successful, we will refund you.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT
THANK YOU FOR READING ALL ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE!
WHEN YOU CLICK TO ORDER, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN AUTOMATED RECEIPT THAT LOOKS AS THOUGH WE ARE BAKING AN ORDER FOR YOU, PLEASE IGNORE THIS. I WILL THEN GET IN TOUCH TO ORGANISE THE DATE WITH YOU AND DISCUSS DETAILS OF WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO CREATE TOGETHER.
