Welcome to our micro bakery, where we specialise in naturally leavened products whcih are additive free. Please take a look at our range, become a “Breamber” or start off with a single order. We bake sourdough bread as well as cakes, crackers, biscuits and buns. Everything is natural. Contact us if you have any enquiries. Please allow 48 hours for us to prepare your order.

Hand Made. Additive Free. Slow Food

Sourdough is an ancient bread making process, with its origins dating back to 3700 BC. Your bread is created using the original process, with only natural ingredients and baked on a hot stone. It is long lasting and nourishing. Please allow at least 48 hours for your order to be fulfilled. 

We now also offer buns, cakes, crackers, biscuits, cereal bars and sauerkraut as well as jam and sambal. Our mission is to produce everything without artificial additives, using the majority of organic ingredients with as low a mileage as possible.

Once it is done, we place it in the "Bread Shed" outside the front of the Bakery for collection, by 09:30am on your chosen "bake day."

Come along and get your freshly baked sourdough bread from a big selection of loaves, rustic rolls, crispy sourdough crackers, alongside sweet treats such as our fresh new baked "True Dovely" dairy free jam doughnuts, naturally leavened hot cross buns, as well as our popular oaty dunker biscuits... as with all our products, totally additive free. Everything is leavened using a wild yeast starter culture. 

There will be "Double D" Cupcakes, this time lemon; made, of course, with only natural ingredients alongside our "Proper Granola" full of nutrition, which happens to be vegan and nut free. 

The loaves will include the Navigator loaf, our "Goldilocks" porridge loaf, a soft sandwich white, our award-winning multiseed and the "Mexicano" with jalapeno and cheddar cheese amongs others!

Babka of the month this time will be our homegrown and home made spiced Damson jam, alongside frangipane to create a bakewell feel. 

​Parking is easy and we take cash as well as contactless payment. All our packaging is planet friendly, and we now have compostable clear wrapping with a heat sealer.

Early in October 2022 I spent a week at Beam Baking Systems being taught sourdough skills by Wayne Caddy, the world famous "Sourdough Slinger" there were 15 of us on the course, including people from Israel, America, Malta and the Isle of Man. We all learned so much, we created stacks of different breads and buns, all types, including braids, stiff levains, overnight cold bulk proving as well as on the day warm proving, we learned new shaping skills, baguettes, various types of ovens and grains. Plus UK Wild Farmed grain, and UK millers standards and how to utilise those.
