Freshly baked sourdough will include the warming ones, such as chilli, the Goldilocks Porridge loaf, our new toaster and sandwich-friendly sliced loaf with no dairy, stoneground wholemeal brown loaf and some crusty white batons. All of this bread is good for freezing and comes out as good as new. Imagine making a sandwich or soup alongside your favourite healthy sourdough bread with leftovers on Boxing Day!
There will be spiced Christmas muffins, mincemeat streusel, sambal oelek, and more....
There will also be a “decorate your own gingerbread giant” competition for fun!
The prize is a £10 voucher to spend in the Bakery, announced at 1pm on the day. (You will of course be able to eat the gingerbread giant before this.)
Parking is easy and we take cash as well as contactless payment. All our packaging is planet friendly, and we have just ordered some compostable clear wrapping with a heat sealer so we can package the Dovely Good Energy cereal bars for you to store better!
Bring a big shopping bag as this bread is perfect for freezing!

Sourdough is an ancient bread making process, with its origins dating back to 3700 BC. Your bread is created using the original process, with only natural ingredients and baked on a hot stone. It is long lasting and nourishing. Please allow at least 48 hours for your order to be fulfilled.
We now also offer cakes, sourdough doughnuts, biscuits and sauerkraut as well as aioli and sambal. Our mission is to produce everything without artificial additives, using the majority of organic ingredients.
Once it is done, we place it in its bag, with your name on it, in the "Bread Shed" outside the front of the Bakery for collection, by 09:30am on your chosen "bake day."

SOURDOUGH SLINGERS MICROBAKERY WORKSHOP
Early in October 2022 I spent a week at Beam Baking Systems being taught sourdough skills by Wayne Caddy, the world famous "Sourdough Slinger" there were 15 of us on the course, including people from Israel, America, Malta and the Isle of Man. We all learned so much, we created stacks of different breads and buns, all types, including braids, stiff levains, overnight cold bulk proving as well as on the day warm proving, we learned new shaping skills, baguettes, various types of ovens and grains. Plus UK Wild Farmed grain, and UK millers standards and how to utilise those.
